The session is the visible half. Here is the rest.
Culling
Every session produces far more frames than anyone should have to look through. The first pass removes the technical failures — blinks, missed focus, the frame where the handler's hand is in shot. The second is editorial: of six near-identical good frames, one is better, and sending all six makes choosing harder rather than more generous.
This is a judgement, and it is the part of the job that most affects how a gallery feels.
Grading
Colour is set to a consistent house look, then adjusted per set — a jungle build and a boho neutral build need different treatment, and a festive set lit by diyas needs different treatment again.
The aim is that a gallery looks like one session rather than forty separate photographs.
Retouching
Light, and conservative. Transient things go: a scratch, a milk spot, a bit of cradle cap, a strap mark. Features do not. We do not slim faces or reshape bodies by default, and we are careful with children specifically — a photograph should look like the child who was in the room.
Delivery
A private online gallery. No watermarks on the previews, no paywall between you and your own photographs. High-resolution downloads, print-ready files and web-sized copies for sharing.
Studio sessions within three weeks; weddings within six, with a highlight set inside 72 hours.
What we do not do
We do not sell, license or supply your images to stock libraries, advertisers or AI training datasets. We do not publish anything without asking you first in writing and getting agreement in writing, separately from the booking.
Declining costs nothing and changes nothing about your session or your gallery. You do not have to give a reason.
Back them up
Galleries stay available for twelve months. We are not a backup service. Download everything when it arrives and put it somewhere safe — ideally two somewheres.
