Ten themes, built not printed

A printed backdrop is flat, and it photographs flat. Each of these is a physical set with real depth — foreground, mid-ground, background — constructed and lit the day before your session. Bring an idea of your own and we will work out what is achievable at your child's age.

Jungle & Safari

Layered foliage, warm earth tones and handmade animal companions — built with depth rather than printed on a backdrop, so the child sits inside the scene.

Newborn to 3 years

Floral Garden

Fresh and silk florals arranged into arches, beds and canopies, in palettes from soft blush to deep jewel tones. Our most requested set for girls and for maternity.

Newborn to 5 years, and maternity

Little Royals

Thrones, drapes, crowns and gilded framing. Deliberately theatrical, and the theme that photographs best when a child is old enough to play along with it.

6 months to 5 years

Space & Astronaut

Moons, rockets, star fields and a handmade astronaut suit in newborn and toddler sizes. Dark, moody lighting that looks nothing like the rest of our work.

3 months to 4 years

Under the Sea

Shells, coral, mermaid tails and layered blues built with depth and reflected light. Popular for six-month sitter sessions and for siblings together.

6 months to 6 years

Tamil Traditional

Temple architecture, kolam floors, brass lamps, silk and traditional jewellery. Built with care and researched properly — the details are correct, not decorative.

All ages, and full families

Boho Neutrals

Muted creams, rattan, dried pampas and linen. The quietest set we build, and the one that ages best on a wall — no theme dating the photograph to a particular year.

Festive & Seasonal

Diwali, Christmas, Pongal and New Year sets, built fresh each season and available only in their window. Booked well ahead, because the window is genuinely short.

Storybook Fantasy

Clouds, moons, hot air balloons, unicorns and fairy lights. Soft, dreamlike lighting, and the set most often chosen for the first-birthday invitation image.

3 months to 5 years

Little Boss

Miniature desks, tiny suits, briefcases and a wall of numbers. Comic by design, and the set that produces the most-shared photographs we make.

6 months to 4 years

Constructed and lit before your slot begins. Nothing assembled while you wait.

Designed per booking

Props sourced or made for your session, not carried over from the one before.

Real depth

Foreground, mid-ground and background, so the child sits inside a place rather than in front of a wall.

Age-appropriate

Staging matched to what a child can actually do at that stage, and checked for safety.

Nothing overhead

No suspended props above a child, ever. Nothing sharp, nothing that can be pulled down.

Two people present

A photographer and a dedicated handler at every baby session.

Two to three setups

Outfit or staging changes within the session, paced by how the child is doing.

Included as standard, because most families want a few and forget to ask.

Several of these sets started as a parent's idea. Describe the concept and your child's age, and we will send back a palette and prop plan before you commit — including an honest note if it will not work at that stage. Custom builds need a little more lead time.
