Not every occasion warrants a wedding-scale team, but most warrant more than a cousin with a phone. Birthday parties, ear-piercing ceremonies, housewarmings, retirements, anniversaries and school events all get the same approach at a proportionate scale: arrive early for the details, cover the ritual or the speeches properly, organise the group photographs before people scatter, and stay for the part after the formal bit when everybody relaxes.

What we would tell you on the first call
Group photographs first, always. Every family we have covered has, at some point, gone looking for an uncle who left an hour ago. Give us twenty minutes near the start of the event and you get a complete set; leave it to the end and you get a set with gaps in it that no amount of editing fixes.

What kinds of events do you cover?+
Birthday parties, ear-piercing ceremonies, housewarmings, retirements, anniversaries, school events and family gatherings — the occasions between the big ones. Same approach as a wedding at a proportionate scale.
How long should we book?+
Two hours suits a small ceremony. Half-day, four to six hours, covers most family celebrations. Full-day for larger events. If you are unsure, describe the schedule when you enquire and we will tell you what is actually needed rather than the larger option.
When should the group photographs happen?+
Near the start, always. Every family we have covered has at some point gone looking for an uncle who left an hour ago. Twenty minutes early gets you a complete set; leaving it to the end gets you a set with gaps.
Can you work in a banquet hall with difficult lighting?+
Yes. Hotel banquet halls, home terraces and apartment interiors all need different lighting approaches and we bring for the venue. Send a photograph of the space when you enquire and we will plan for it rather than improvise.
Do you offer video for events?+
Yes, including an optional highlight reel. As with weddings, book photo and video together so one team plans both.
