What we would tell you about this set
This is the set to choose if the photograph is going on a wall for a decade. Themed sets are wonderful and they are also of their moment — a superhero set will read as 2026 in fifteen years. Neutrals do not date, they suit almost any room, and they convert to black and white better than anything else we build. It is the least exciting choice on this page and the one we quietly recommend most often.

Is this set too plain?+
It is the quietest thing we build, deliberately. It is also the set we recommend most often for a photograph going on a wall for a decade — nothing in the frame dates it to a particular year, it suits almost any room, and it converts to black and white better than anything else we build.
What should we wear?+
Cream, oat, sand, taupe, palest sage. Natural fibres only — linen, cotton, muslin, wool. No pattern anywhere in frame. Newborns are wrapped rather than dressed.
Does it work for maternity?+
Very well. Flowing linen against the plaster-effect panel with single-source window light is about as simple as photography gets, and it holds up better over time than anything more elaborate.
