The Book House

Shelves of storybooks and a reading nook. Quiet, warm and full of small detail — the set families choose when they want the photograph to feel like a memory rather than a production.

What we would tell you about this set

Bring a book the child already loves. The difference between a child holding a prop and a child actually looking at something they recognise is the whole photograph, and it is not something we can supply.

FAQ

The Book House — common questions

Should we bring a book?+

Please do. A child looking at something they actually recognise is a completely different photograph from a child holding a prop, and it is the one thing we cannot supply.

Is the lighting dark on this set?+

Warmer and lower than most, lit partly by a practical lamp in frame. The room itself stays normally lit between setups, so no child is sitting in the dark.

Can a parent be photographed reading with the child?+

Yes, and it is one of the strongest frames this set produces. Tell us on the call so we plan the armchair position for two.

Want the The Book House set?

Tell us your child's age and roughly when you are thinking. We will confirm what is achievable at that stage and hold a date — and if a different set would suit them better, we will say so.
