What you will come away with
The frames we plan for on this set. Not a guarantee — children have opinions — but this is what we are working towards.
Standing at the counter, spoon in hand
Mid-stir, flour everywhere
Chef hat falling over the eyes
Detail — small hands in the dough
Wide frame with the copper catching the light
Cooking with a parent, both in frame
What we would tell you about this set
The dough is edible and it will be eaten. That is planned for. This is the set where we most often get the genuinely delighted expression, because a toddler allowed to make a mess with permission is a very happy toddler.
Little Chef — common questions
Is the dough safe to eat?+
Yes — it is edible and it will be eaten. That is planned for rather than discouraged. Tell us about allergies on the enquiry and we make it accordingly.
Which kitchen backdrop will you use?+
We own two, copper and pale cabinetry. Copper suits warmer outfits and gives a richer bounce; the pale one is cleaner and brighter. We decide on the styling call.
What age is this best for?+
One to five. A toddler who understands what a kitchen is engages with this set immediately, which is why it produces so many genuinely delighted expressions.
