What we would tell you about this set

This is the set to choose if the photograph is going on a wall for a decade. Themed sets are wonderful and they are also of their moment — a racer set will read as its year in fifteen. Neutrals do not date, suit any room, and convert to black and white better than anything else we own. The least exciting choice on this page and the one we quietly recommend most.

Is this set too plain?+

It is the quietest thing we build, deliberately, and the one we recommend most for a photograph going on a wall for a decade. Nothing in the frame dates it, it suits almost any room, and it converts to black and white better than anything else we own.

Which of the four backdrops will you use?+

Barn wood for warmth and texture, light wood for airiness, vintage beige for a soft classical look, textured neutral for the quietest option. We choose with you on the styling call.

Does it work for maternity?+

Very well. Flowing linen against the light wood with single-source window light is about as simple as photography gets, and it holds up better over time than anything more elaborate.
